Insecurity: Eighty years old woman kidnapped in Bayelsa state

 

An eighty years old woman identified as Betinah Benson, was kidnapped by unknown gunmen in military camouflage, on Tuesd at her residence Yenagoa in Bayelsa state. 

According to the report received by Drizzlersnews, Betinah Benson is the mother of the present SSG of Bayelsa state Kombowei Benson

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
