Entertainment News: Zack Orji rejuvenate Imo state entertainment industry

 

Nigerian Nollywood veteran actor Zack Orji, storm Imo state and held a close door meeting, with the entertainers, to find a lasting solutions, in the recent political crisis,that exist in the industry. 

Zack said "Entertainment is a big business and we must ensure that good educative contents, are created for our society, he went further to appeal, for government support, in provision of official film office, entertainment academy and movie village,  but appealed to them, to develop good cordial united relationship among ourselves, we will skyrocket, an unlimited equivocal opportunities, with the help of media practitioners and bloggers, a light of joy, shall shine again in our various entertainment pilgrim hub, which we are known for, in world and only if we can believe in ourselves, by working hard, our efforts, will surely be crowned, with success and finally warned youths to desist from every evil vices of money rituals, peddling of hard drugs, engaging in fraudulent acts and political violence, because their is no short cut in life, but only believe in God".   

The former senior special adviser to the governor on youth affairs Eric Uwakwe, thanked the organizers of the meeting, for bringing well known face, in the movie industry, Zack Orji to reorient the youths, through his motivational speech, and it is the right time indeed, although all arms of the entertainment industry, in Imo state, is duly represented, Uwakwe promise to take all their challenges and discussed plans in the meeting to the governor. 

Present in the close door meeting, which was held on the 6TH of July 2021, are  Enyinnaya Onuegbu, Bobby Micheal, Chukwunoye Iruona, Nneoma Ukpabi

Nkotonko music drama actors Omalicha and Akuebe in movie audition

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked. But if their is any only those in it knew the secret and history as indigenous members of that community so many of them were scared to unfold the history and mystery of Owu cultural festival as a non indigenous member of that community i was not allowed to go into their mix for an interview and anything you have to appreciate them you drop it on the floor but it is believed according to christian doctrine that it is an Idol wors
