Sports: Mikel Obi quit Stoke City, for a mega bucks deal, with another Asian football club

 



Former Super Eagles captain John Mikel Obi, have signed a one year contract, with a Kuwaiti premier league club side, Al Kuwait SC, for an disclosed fee, for the 2020 / 2021 football season. 

According to the report, received by the Drizzlersnews, the terms of the deal, was not disclosed, but the announcement of mikel's services, was seen, on Al Kuwait SC website and Mikel confirmed the contract, as he expressed gratitude and promise to give his best, to his new football club, as he mutually quit from English championship club side Stoke City. 

Although John Mikel Obi is yet to be unveiled, as the player of Al Kuwait SC and it is his seventh club side, since he started his football career and Al Kuwait SC is his second club side in Asia, but he was the formal player of Tianjin Teda in China. 

He is the youth ambassador of the Nigerian football federation.
