A journalist and two others, killed by bank robbers at Ondo state

 

 Three persons have been shot dead by commercial bank robbers, while on raid operation in Ondo state. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, from Ondo state police public relations officer Tee-Leo Ikoro, confirmed that the bank robbery incident, occurred

at IIara-Mokin, in Ifedore local government area in Ondo state, and a journalist identified as Olubunmi Afuye, who is a staff of Elizade university, as a public relation officer,  a commercial motorcyclist transporter and a police officer, were all killed by the armed robbers. 

Tee-Leo PPRO disclosed to our correspondent,that Olubunmi Afuye, was coming back from a social ceremony event, where he performed as an MC and he was going back to his work place at the Elizade university, when he was tragically shot dead by the bandits, while they were carrying out their operation, at the commercial bank and funds were carted away.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
